Gilt decoration to the front board showing that the book belonged to the Chambre Syndicale des Entrepreneurs Beaune in 1889. A touch of rubbing and darkening to the boards and spine. Marbled end papers and University of France bookplate showing that this was a First Prize for Graphic Design work in 1889. The work is full of text, and with a large number of engraved illustrations, showing the technique of perspective and artistic geometry. Text in French. 152 pages. 270 x 170 mm (10¾ x 6¾ inches). Première édition. Toile cartonnée rouge avec dos en cuir rouge assorti. Titres et décor dorés au dos. Décor doré sur le plat avant indiquant que le livre appartenait à la Chambre Syndicale des Entrepreneurs Beaune en 1889. Une touche de frottement et de noircissement sur les plats et le dos. Gardes marbrées et ex-libris de l'Université de France indiquant qu'il s'agissait d'un premier prix de création graphique en 1889. L'ouvrage est riche en textes, et avec un grand nombre d'illustrations gravées, montrant la technique de la perspective et de la géométrie artistique. Texte en français. 152 pages. 270 x 170 mm
