Blind stamped borders of interlinked leaves to front and rear boards with further leaves set in the centre. Aem. 7.25ins x 5ins, marbled endpapers, vi, 314pp. Translation by Philip Kent. Spotting to blank leaves between the marbled endpapers and the text. Signature in pencil to one of those blank leaves. Label originally read ""De Balzac"" but only half of it remains. Internally VG, externally G+
