Hardcover binding in excellent condition, with a tiny area of discoloration along the rear hinge and minimal shelfwear. Unclipped dustjacket with a few tears and creases, minor to moderate soiling and/or discoloration, mostly at the extremities; protected in archival mylar. Contains four color plates and numerous black & white sketches, as well as a facsimile of a letter handwritten by the author. Previous owner's gift inscription neatly on the front endpaper. Minor discoloration to the edge of the title page, and moderate darkening of the endpapers. An early reprint edition..
