General Marshall visited the sites of the principal battlefields of the twenty-five year long war and using geography and often-conflicdting battle reports a realistic account of what probably happened. Here are the battle stories of the Nez Perce and Chief Joseph, Custer's last stand, and the the battle of Wounded Knee all from a military point of view.
