A very handsome three volume set, bound in threequarter tan calf and marbled boards with elaborate gilt pattern to spine and raised bands. Gilt is bright but there is minor wear to Vol III and rubbing to spine labels. Bindings by Riley of Manchester. Edges are rubbed. Internally the bindings are tight. Pages are age-tanned but clean. Previous owner's signature on inner flyleaf. 1853
