Sobre este artículo
Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company. Good+. 1888. Hardcover. Fiske was an historian of the 19th century who authored a number of books on American history.Original maroon cloth binding, the top edge is gilt. There is a stray mark on spine which is also lightly sunned, but the gilt spine lettering is very legible. There is an old dampstain along the edge of rear cover. There is an old pencil inscription on the front end paper dated 1889, and the person to whom the book was gifted also wrote their name in ink above the inscription. There is about a 1/4" crack to the inner rear joint. A clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. I am uncertain if this is a first edition as the title page date is 1889 and the copyright date is 1888. ; Color Map; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 368 pages .
