There is some wear to the binding, being bmp. to cnrs.,& abrasion to edges, but overall it remains quite tidy. The binding is also physically strong with the interior pages securely bound. Internally, there were several "Penny Red" stamps attached to fep. However, someone has attempted to rip them out. Just a few fragments remain. Early script sgn. & date to ffep., (1852) with sml. paper repair to lwr. cnr. The rest of the interior is clean & functional. Certain pages at rear remain unseparated. Size: 8vo - over 73/4" - 93/4" tall.
