[1]-267 pp.; [1]-275 pp., plus publisher's catalog, pp. [1]-2, 15-24. 8vo., original tan, textured cloth, paper spine labels. Ex library, from a private circulating library. Volume I lacks the frontispiece. Light foxing throughout both volumes, with pencil and pen notations to beginning and final blanks. Hinges are weak; cloth covers are sunned and moderately soiled. This is a reading copy only. (BAL 8061).
