Grosset & Dunlap, 1948. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good Minus. Vintage Brown Tweed cover with Dust Jacket in Very Good condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages- book appears unread. Dust Jacket is NOT price clipped- inside front dj flap price is $1.00. There is a name written in pencil and a number written at the top of the front flap of the DJ. There are 21 Cherry Ames titles listed inside the front flap of the dust jacket. Dust Jacket shows some minor soiling, chipping, small tears, and small missing pieces. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. This popular nurse series was published from 1943 to 1968 and consists of 27 titles. Dust Jacket were originally issued in #s 1-22. In 1962, dust jackets were dropped and Cherry Ames was published with a yellow spine format. In 1964, it was switched to a green spine format. Wonderful, wholesome nurse stories. This is the ninth book in the series, originally published in 1948. Hard to find! Very Nice copy!
