New York: The Dial Press, 1949. Pretty solid copy. Unmarked but for signature of John Saxon on small index card tipped in to flyleaf which he apparently mailed to book's owner based on envelope laid in. Saxon starred in the film version of this book. Textured tan boards show light soiling. Endpapers show some offset. Hinge strong, book square. Evidence of dampstain to fore-edge pages. No warp to text. Price intact jacket has been cut 1/4" short to both top and bottom edge. Abrasion near bottom of front panel where sticker might have been removed. It is 2 1/2" long and 1/2 " in height. Flaps have had relatively small tears that have eliminated small portion of text, mostly to front flap. Hard to find book. Author wrote the initial screenplay for "Rebels without a Cause". In mylar. . Signed By John Saxon . First American Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Minus/VG Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
