Slim octavo, pp 202, (i), very clean internally, green cloth in very good condition, in a rather worn and wrinkled dustwrapper which is obviously of wartime economy production. [This copy belonged to the nature writer "Ceres" [= Alison Ross = Alison Esplan], with her pencilled notes on the dustwrapper and various neat pencil marks in the margins. It also contains three interesting letters from the author [these have been cut in two to facilitate fitting in the book], and three little pamphlets regarding The Evolution Protest Movement including one by Acworth on Darwin and Natural Selection. Acworth was the prime mover in the Movement.]. Cloth. Very Good/Rather worn and frayed.
