Cults of the Shadow

A very nice copy of the first edition (Frederick Muller, London, 1975) of Grant's third volume of the first Typhonian trilogy, exploring the less well known aspects of the occult, including the Left Hand Path, Serpent Power, the Draconian Cults of Ancient Egypt and the Tantric Systems of India. This is the original first edition first impression, NOT the later US first. Pages are very good indeed: bright and clear with no notes or inscriptions. Slightest residue of a small brown mark at top right of front FEP and one other early (pre title) page, but not really noticeable. Binding is totally tight. All the excellent illustrations are intact and clean. Black boards are clean and have no problems. Dust jacket is very good: though it's clipped the original small Muller price sticker remains attached to front flap. A little browning on top of front flap; a few nicks and a little shelfwear mostly at top edge, and corners a little rubbed. Cover illustration and rear picture both in very good condition. Just minor age related rubbing here and there. Really very nice indeed. Now protected in clear removable professional book covering.
