The photograph is stamped on back 'TYRRELL'S MUSEUM / OF / ANTIQUES BOOKS & CURIOS / 143 CASTLEREAGH STREET / SYDNEY' 1829 and identified by Smalls auctions in Australia as an early reprint from the original 'Kerry' glass negative. The sepia reprints are likely the working stock of the Kerry Studio that Tyrell acquired along with the original glass negatives. London: Leadlay Ltd, 1931. Portfolio with original quarter vellum over gilt lettered grey boards. Small certificate of limitation pasted to the inside front board. Grey flaps hold loose card inserts. These comprise: a title sheet; a contents sheet; Note by Beerbohm, which is a facsimile hand written note on laid paper, tipped into grey card folder; 5 portraits by Beerbohm tipped into grey card folders. Subjects are Mr. Noel Coward, Miss Peggy Wood, Mr. Georges Metaxa, Miss Ivy St. Helier, and Mr. Charles B. Cochran. The vellum and boards have light markings to them, and a little bumping, but still very presentable. The grey folders have a touch of darkening to them. Book is in a fine condition, and dust jacket is in a very good / fine condition with just very small 'nicks' to top edge [iv], 112 pp. 215 x 130 mm (8½ x 5 inches).

Nauendorf: NA, 1887. Nine leaves with original plant and animal studies. White heightened charcoal and partly pen and ink drawings, mostly dated 1887. The leaves are approximately 32.8 x 26 cm. The subjects are skilfully executed and include apricot blossom (white), cherry blossom (white), meadow ane mone white. - Fragrant Narcissus (white) & Portrait of a Young Girl. - Vine leaves, verso leaves of oak, linden, rose and pipe leaf. - 2 different plants. - Apple Blossom (White), White Daffodil, Flying Hearts (Red), Cockchafer. - Yellow daffodil, daisy. - Violet lilac, white lilac, lilac (light purple), forget-me-not (blue). - Violets and Cowslips. - There is a fascinating page entitled "Zoological Garden Leipzig" which includes sketches of goat, deer, stork, ostrich, ducks & two foot studies.
