A detailed collection of curious and remarkable sights and spots around the city of London, from the Adelphi and the Botanical Gardens, to stained glass windows and Zoological Gardens. Written by John Timbs, an English antiquary and author. In the original full brown cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine. Front joint starting but firm with minor loss of the cloth. Front hinge tender but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd handling mark and ink annotations. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
