Currahee! is his story of the five days and nights of fighting that raged behind the beaches - a young soldier's first exposure to the overwhelming shock of combat, and the only first hand narrative of D-Day by a paratrooper that we are ever likely to have. 189 pages. Some rubbing on top & bottom & edges of spine and some places on outside edges. Spine has a crease down it. Multiple creases on the front and rear cover down the length of the book next to spine edge. A 1" crease on front cover across the top right corner. Rear cover has a 3" crease across the bottom left corner. Prev. bookstore stamp on Ffep and 2nd page. Prev. owners initals on FFep. 'R' in ink on front cover..
