London: John Stockdale, 1788. Leather Bound. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 292, [4] pages with additional publications at the rear. Includes the engraved frontis and the engraved title page. Hardcover bound in full calf leather. The binding is worn and bumped, and there is some cracking to the hinges, especially near the headcap. Outer edges of the text block are toned. A previous owner's name inscribed in ink on the front pastedown. Some pencil markings in the upper right corner of the rear pastedown. There is light foxing to the end papers as well to the title page and adjacent frontispiece. The text is toned.

Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
