This copy comes from the collection of W. G. Bowdoin, important bibliophile and author of "The Rise of the Book-Plate." With Bowdoin's book-plate to front pastedown. ; Tight binding, clean pages. Slight rubbing to corners and spine ends with a split in the gutter between pastedowns and endpapers. Binding remains solid. With an old article about Cyprus and Cesnola's explorations affixed to rear endpaper and pastedown. Cesnola served as the US consul in Cyprus, 1865-1877. ; 8vo; 448 pages; Signed by Author .
