11x8.5", 4-8 leaves each. Offset printed from typed originals. Most, but not all, stapled in upper left corner.

Each issue contains news about the progress of the war and the occupation, reports of the Holocaust and other German war crimes, reprints of important documents, and speeches by Jan Masaryk, Edvard Benes and others.

Among significant topics:

-Apparent first US printing of the Soviet-Czechoslovak Treaty, Jan 21, 1944 and "Official Comment on New Czechoslovak-Soviet Agreement"

-Agreement Between Russia and Czechoslovakia on Administration of Liberated Areas

-"Persecution of the Jews in Bohemia and Moravia"

-"The Fate of Jewry"

-Czechoslovak Guerrillas in Action

-Slovak Partisans in the USSR

-Jan Masaryk on Russia

-Jan Masaryk on the Jews

-Czechoslovakia and the Europe of Tomorrow

-Goering Must Die

All are Ex Lib UCLA Library, with its stamp dated 1944 in upper right corners. UCLA still has a nearly complete set [1939-45]; these are from a duplicate set deaccessioned in the 1970s. According to WorldCat several US institutions have issues in their collections but it is not clear how complete.

Condition: Near Fine; only occasional corner creasing, minor tears. "1st" penciled lightly upper left corners; presumably meaning 'first printing'.

Sobre Armadillo & Dicker Books & Ephemera

80 Years of Selling Things People Could Easily Live Without -- but now Online only.*****CONDITION: We are conservative graders. If we say FINE you can count on it. If there are any minor defects [e.g. minor shelf-wear] they will be noted. VERY GOOD means there is light shelf or surface-wear, possibly some light age-toning, maybe a prior owner's inked name inside -- but no significant defects. GOOD means we wish we had a better copy too, but still in collectable condition. Any significant defects will be noted. FAIR usually means the interior is good or better but the covers are heavily worn. POOR means both the interior and the covers are damaged. Again, significant defects will be noted.
