New-York: Charles Starr, 1824. Hardcover. 24mo (6.25" x 3.75"), full calf. viii, 9-240, includes Samuel Green's "Practical Accountant" at the back. Early ownership inscription of one "John S. Starknells, His Book Bought Lately 1898" on ffep. Starknell's name also inscribed on rear endpaper. CONDITION: Good, minor rubbing to cover/spine and corners lightly bumped, inner hinges cracked but binding tight, foxing throughout, stains from inscriptions onto front and back paste-downs. Later revised text of a volume originally printed in 1811.
