One copy is ex-library with usual markings.. Red & black stapled wraps, 36 pp., many BW illus. Issued in conjunction with a series of 1988-1989 exhibitions of artwork rendered by five artists who used to meet regularly in Cologne: Max Ernst (1891-1976), Franz Seiwert (1894-1933), Willy Fick (1893-1967), Heinrich Hoerle (1895-1936), and Angelika Hoerle (1899-1923). The artwork was rescued by Fick's great-niece Angelika Littlefield. Hence her telling here is really of two stories: of the people and of the art. Fascinating.
