In its original illustrated dust jacket (lightly bumped along upper edge, remains of price label visible, small chips on corners). Helen Steiner Rice's poems were written to commemorate events. She often sent specially composed verses and poems to others - congratulations to a niece on her marriage for instance, or expressions of joy to a co-worker on the birth of their children, or offering solace to a grieving friend. This collection of her work provides a way to reflect on God's tender mercies, using flowers as a transforming motif. Slim 8vo.
