Sobre este artículo
Houston: Houston Breakthrough, 1977. Complete run of three issues of the tabloid-format newspaper, 36p., 32p., & 36p. respectively, issued on Nov. 18, 19, and 20, 1977, during the National Women's Conference in Houston. Each has a horizontal fold, evenly toned, else very good on newsprint. "The three issues of Daily Breakthrough (Nov. 18, 19 & 20) covering the international Women's Year National Conference are a special project of Houston Breakthrough, a monthly newspaper .." The Conference, chaired by Bella Abzug, had about 2,000 delegates and almost ten times as many observers. These newspapers cover developments at the conference as well as some discussion of the anti-feminist counter-conference across town.
