Sobre este artículo
LONDON: J.HARRIS, , 1807 Illustrated paper covered boards with laid on printed title slip to front and laid on illustration to rear.125 x 100 mm approx 66 no pp + 28 blanks. NB lacks one leaf - pp 63-64 consequently only 29 of the stated 30 engravings. Dated 1807 to title. We are unable to establish if this is the later Leadenhall Press facsimile or a first printing of this chap book. There are no publisher's adverts and no indication that it is a printing other than for J Harris, successor to E. Newbery, and Crosby and Co. With have graded as poor because of the lack of one leaf. Close inspection of the spine also reveals a Japanese tissue paper repair to the spine. Priced to sell with all faults). Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition.
