Sobre este artículo
London; Edinburgh; Paris; Melbourne; Johannesburg; Toronto; New York; Thomas Nelson and Sons Ltd, 1960., 1960. Hard Cover. INSCRIBED FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. 186. With eight full-page illustrations by Esme Verity. Publishers' emerald green cloth with gilt spine titles, top edge stained green. With the original illustrated dust-jacket also by Verity, and blue-and-white pictorial endpapers. Spine tips lightly rubbed and corners a little bruised. Inscribed by the Author to title page: "To Ann, with love from the author, Lorna Hill" (possibly a gift to Ann Robinson, to whom the book is dedicated, and who went on to illustrate Hill's later work?). Clipped dust-jacket lightly soiled and spine-sunned, with a single small closed tear and a small neat ink annotation "errors p.174" to inner flap in Hill's hand, and minor loss at head of spine. A Very Good copy in a Very Good dust-jacket. A stand alone tale from Hill's ever popular Sadler's Wells ballet series following the dance company on Tour in Sicily. Charmingly illustrated by Esme Verity, with a pretty dust-jacket in pastel shades featuring ballet dancers.
