Sobre este artículo
New York: The Viking Press, 1975. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The fourth of Westlake's novels featuring the conflict between modern white America and the Native American and arguably his most accomplished in which the cunning savage has at long last decided to fight back against the Four Corners Power Plant and the nearly finished Atlas Dam. Aided by a rancher's daughter who takes over the learning hogan and teaches the Navaho some very unorthodox lessons and by Tom Charlie, an Indian who went to university, studied science and is building a "gift" from the red man to the white man, there may yet be a chance before all is surrounded and swallowed up by the Great White Reservation. Remainder mark on bottom edge of text, minor soiling on other text edges, some mild fading to lettering on lower spine, o/w only normal edge and surface wear. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square. Dustjacket shows only light wear at edges and corners, no tears, no creasing or chipping, not price-clipped. A very nice copy of this collectable work.
