In mint condition as received directly from the publisher. Bound in full green cloth with a design in black and gold by Quentin Blake. Illustrated by Quentin Blake. 'Danny the Champion of the World' was first published in 1975. This Limited Edition was produced for The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in 2021 and includes early extracts from the book (including the first appearance of the BFG) as they were written by Roald Dahl himself. There is also a four-page story that didn't make it into the final version of the book. It is a bedtime story told by Danny's dad - a fantasy where father and son are taken in their caravan, by four white ghost horses, to meet Her Majesty the Queen. A fine, unread, copy. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. All orders professionally packed, tracked and/or signed for, and insured.
