London: Geoffrey Bles. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1925. Hardcover. No signatures. A couple of leaves opened roughly, with chip to blank margin of 1 leaf. Some minor foxing. ; 200 pages + 12 colour plates (including frontispiece) + 3 black and white plates. 4 black and white in-text illustrations (headpiece vignettes at the beginning of each of the four books.) Cream cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine, small gilt illustration at corner of front board. Page dimensions: 251 x 191mm. Text in English, translated from the Greeek by George Thornley in 1657. Illustrations by John Austen. .
