This is a Very Good Copy of this hardcover book in original red cloth with black title lettering to spine,in a Good Only Dust-Jacket that has 1.3'' of loss to the wrapper at base of spine and a further small v shaped chip approx 1cm in size to the top edge of the upper cover.Miniscule nick to head of spine which is also lightly sunned.Price clipped.This copy has no previous names or inscriptions present.The binding remains firm with NO hinge weakness.There are NO loose pages etc.The text block in the main is very bright and clean with just a touch of light spotting to the fore-edge of the book.A decent then copy for the collector of this sought after Charteris title.The dust-jacket comes well protected in a removable cover sleeve.8vo 256pp Reprint [1930's] . Very Good. Hardcover. Reprint.
