From the library of esteemed film director Fred Zinnemann, with his SIGNED bookplate on the front endpaper. "Fred & Renee Los Angeles May 1957." Close to fine in a priceclipped Vg. + or better DJ. (A few small chips & traces of light shelf wear to dust jacket. Front cover detached at fold. ) Zinnemann's red pencil markings are throughout the text. A magazine article relating to the book, with the director's markings present is laid-in as well. Doubtlessu tilized in pre-production for "The Nun's Story." (1959) Signed Zinnemann material is uncommon. .
