Henry Morton Stanley was the most successful and famous of all the Victorian era African explorers. This is his account of his Emin Pasha Relief Expedition of 1886-1889. It was Stanley's final African adventure and the last of the great African explorations. Showing just light and acceptable wear and rubbing, exteriors remain bright and interior is clean, and collated complete with all three maps. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good. Octavo.
