Sobre este artículo

London: Harpercollins Publishers Ltd, 2007. First printing. Hardcover. Fine/very good +. Tight white pages. DJ has some slight creasing to top edge. No Inscriptions. From the DJ blurb: Amy Redwing risks everything in her chosen field of dog rescue. When she confronts a violent drunk in order to rescue Nickie, a beautiful golden retriever, Amy has no misgivings. Dogs always do their best, and so will she. Nervously riding shotgun is her friend, Brian. He blames Amy’s work for her refusal to marry him, unaware that she is hiding a shattering secret. Nickie brings great joy into their lives. But this joy is shadowed by a series of eerie incidents. An ominous stranger... A mysterious invasion of Amy’s home... And the unmistakable sense that someone is watching Amy’s every move and that, whoever it is, he’s not alone. Amy’s past is about to catch up with her. It threatens to turn her into a desperate, hunted creature - like those she has devoted her life to rescuing. And Brian, the one man who might save her, has a problem of his own in the terrifying shape of Vanessa, his ex-lover. She comes crashing back into his life just as Amy needs him most. The darkest evening of their lives is approaching... Dean Koontz’s new thriller is a heart-gripping tour de force: a love story and a masterpiece of suspense that captures the essence of our times even as it races towards its wrenching climax.

Apologies for the shipping cost increases, but the cost of shipping hardback books has increased ridiculously, to the point where I was making a loss on some book sales, so the increase was necessary.
