A PRESENTATION COPY FROM THE AUTHOR WITH HIS SIGNED HOLOGRAPH INSCRIPTION ON FRONT FREE ENDPAPER. Richard Broke Freeman (1915-1986), noted Darwinian scholar and bibliographer, was author of A Darwin Companion, the Darwin Bibliographical Handlist, British Natural History Books and several others related works. The present work combines a fine facsimile of Burke's 'Pedigree of the Family of Darwin' (1888) published in an edition of only 60 copies, and Freeman's Commentary. PRESENTATION COPIES ARE RARE.
