Unpaginated colour and b/white halftone plates (all called-for plates attached and extant), a large section of line-drawn medical and surgical instruments and apparatus, plus several other intext drawings. Book clean and square. Bright gilt title over firm spine. Blind-stamp publisher's device and border over undamaged red cloth boards. No dustjacket. Endpapers lightly flecked, textblock has publisher's red splash-tinting on all edges, else leaves clean. Somewhat dated, this book does not follow any syllabus and is not intended as a complete textbook of nursing. It does, however, provide information on a wide range of subjects incidental to the nursing profession . . . Contents include: Prelims., 17 'sections', Appendices, Index. Book weight approx. 755g.
