Sobre este artículo
New York, New York: Harper & Row, 1971. First Edition First Printing 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Lobel, Arnold. Another delightful tale--in verse form--for children, this one about the arrival of Dutchman Peter Stuyvesant & the founding of New York in 1647. Both written & illustrated by Caldecott medal winner Lobel. Unpaginated. A FIRST EDITION, first printing from 1971, this oblong small quarto (10" x 9.5") has brightly colored yellow cloth over boards, with a design matched on the accompanying DJ. Condition is VG: very clean & bright, but an Ex-Lib copy with the usual stamps & markings, old card pocket in rear. Front endpapers slightly smudged, with a former owner's address label; other pages completely unmarked. Mild corner bumping & rubbing to extremities. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. The top-clipped DJ (price intact at lower front flap) is also VG, with paper call number to lower spine, partially removed paper label across front image; else bright & colorful! Old library mylar has been removed & replaced with new! Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping if ordered by 2 pm weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next day.
