Edition de Luxe limited to 1000 copies, of which this is 328. Hand colored frontispieces with original tissue guard to both volumes. Fold-out replica letter bound in Volume I. Facsimile playbill for Woffington's play The Fair Penitent bound in Volume II. Black-and-white illustrations throughout. Publisher's watermark(three stars and three circles in a cartouche topped by a fleur de lis) to all pages. Wear to head of spine on Volume I. No previous owners' names or other markings.
