Sobre este artículo

New York: Harper & Brothers, 1960. Five young missionaries were martyred by the fierce Auca tribe of Ecuador and their sacrifice was related in "Through Gates of Splendor" and "The End of the Spear." This continuation of that tragic story deals with a young Auca woman, Dayuma, who flees from her tribe and meets Rachel Saint, sister of one of the martyred missionaries, who converts the young woman to Christianity. The book deals with what happened after Dayuma returned to her savage tribe. The book includes an epilogue by Rachel Saint herself. The book includes photo inserts. The book is in Fine condition with a Very Good+ dust jacket. The book is bound in red cloth with a black spine and die-stamped gilt spine titles. The book is tightly bound and the pages are clean and bright throughout, with no marks, tears, or stains. The unclipped dust jacket has some tears, repaired on the reverse. I've placed the dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. The book was published in September, 1960, according to the "I-K" publisher's code on the copyright page. The book measures 5 3/4 by 8 1/4 inches and includes 288 pages.. Hard Cover. Fine/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
