New York: The Viking Press, 1955. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1st Ed., 1st Ptg.Clean, crisp and tight copy. Page ends are darkening but interior is clean. Red cloth of boards has slight damage at top of front hinge and on bottom inside edges. There is a little corner and spine end bumping. Front and spine of dust jacket are dark red, with the red covering the spine portion a little sunned. The back cover is cream colored, and has some darkening and foxing on top and front edges. There is slight corner wear and some chipping - a few closed tears and light creasing.
