Sobre este artículo

New York: W W Norton & Co Inc, 1983. Book Club (BCE/BOMC). Hardcover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7. Type: Hardback Hardcover BCE Book and Dust Jacket in Good Condition. When Harry Truman met Bess Wallace in 1890 in Sunday School, he knew, as he said years later, that she would be his life's love--and she was. Theirs was one of the most durable marriages of the century, of those ones hears about. They wrote to each other almost daily and Bess kept most of Harry's letters. His life unfolds in his letters to Bess. Photographic in-text b/w illustrations. The book is bound in blue half cloth with gilt outlined title panel on spine, gilt titled within, blue paper-wrapped boards. Very clean, with some darker areas along edges and on back side. Tight, solid and square, with sharp corners. Rough cut on fore edge and bottom edge. Frontis: Harry and Bess. Other than a smudge on the back side of the endpaper, the internals are very clean and free from any markings, no creasing. Blue and white clean jacket with photographs of Harry and Bess on front and back, chipped spine head and heel and corners. Clear archival protective jacket cover. 593 pages with index. 6.5 x 1.75 x 9.5 inches. W W Norton & Co Inc, USA, 1983.
