Sobre este artículo
New York: Sheldon & Company, 1876. Justin McCarthy (1830-1912) was an Irish nationalist historian and politician, an MP for thirty years. He was also a popular novelist. This is a Very Good (Plus) to Near Fine copy of the Fisrt American Edition. Not a common book; his histories are more prevalent. Publisher's rust cloth binding, decoratively stamped and titled in black; titling and decorations in gilt on the spine. Clean text; 268 pages; with a four-page publisher's advert in the rear. Spine is darkened but gilt is still strong. Mild bumping; rubbing to the head and foot of the spine. A solid and attractive copy.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
