Sobre este artículo

NY: Farrar Straus & Giroux, 1988. First. Hard Cover. Yes. Maurice Sendak. First edition. Oblong quarto in grey cloth. The first publication of a previously unknown tale by Wilhelm Grimm. The story, of a mother who sends her daughter into the forest to protect her from a terrible war, was preserved in an 1816 letter written by Grimm to a little girl. It remained in the family's hands for a century and a half and was brought to light in 1983. Graced by Maurice Sendak's magical illustrations. Fine in fine dust jacket.
