From the library of Micajah Pratt Clough (1848-1933) with bookplate (Brainerd 66, 1896: 1.75 by 3.25-inches) designed by Edwin Davis French (1851-1906) affixed to front pastedown. [Clough was a shoe manufacturer on Broad Street in Lynn Massachusetts and member of the Lynn Historical Society. This was one of the two bookplates commissioned from French, the other was Brainerd 51 the year before].
