A classic murder mystery by New Zealand's Agatha Christie. Detective Roderick Alleyn solves another thriller in Marsh's 4th book. Thick 8vo 320p hard cover in red cloth with title in white lettering. There are 3 very small chips on the spine edge and the spine is lightly sun faded. Pages have slight age yellowing. There is an end paper map and a faint publisher's stamp inside the rear cover stating, 'This volume is supplied for sale in the dominions only.' The book is bright and firmly bound and in very good condition for its age. As far as I know this is the only 1st edition available. A rare collectable.
