Sobre este artículo

London : Faber & Faber, (1977). First edition. A young girl found murdered in East Anglia, but then a second death at the forensic laboratory investigating the case - Commander Dalgleish is called in. "One of the most unusual and puzzling cases of his career". Post 8vo (21cm). [vi],(266)pp. Original red boards, ruled and lettered in gilt; a few slight marks; small erasure from foot of title-page, but otherwise a very good copy in the Terry Trott dust-jacket - the spine lettering of the jacket sunned, as usual, but otherwise very good, clean and unworn.

Sinopsis

Death of an Expert Witness is an Adam Dalgliesh novel by P. D. James, published in 1977. It begins with the discovery of a murder of young girl. However, this is not the focus of the novel, but rather is used as a method to introduce us to the staff of a forensic laboratory, the background of this mystery. The actual murder of Dr. Lorrimer, an experienced expert witness, is only discovered in the second section of the book.
