Sobre este artículo

Very dark Navy Blue cloth, under Bright light the lettering and publisher's emblem is silver, under normal light Author's name and Emblem is a pale green Silver, the mountains on the cover are a different shade green. The top edge is stained very dark blue(some faded), on page 80 the first word is Waking instead of Walking, ink on the main title page is black not blue, no mention of printing on the copyright page. There is one more issue point on the DJ which I will mention later. The only defects are: previous owner's name in ink 1st leaf, and slight bruising to the spine ends. The DJ has minor rubbing and edge wear and a couple of small tears near the bottom spine areas and the spine is slightly sunned and it has a pale yellow Emblem that I have seen on 1st(unstated), 2nd,3rd, and 4th stated printings. With so many variations there had to be more than 1 or 2 printers involved with this book. The price is intact $3.95..

Sinopsis

A Death in the Family is an autobiographical novel by author James Agee, set in Knoxville, Tennessee. He began writing it in 1948, but it was not quite complete when he died in 1955. It was edited and released posthumously in 1957 by editor David McDowell. Agee's widow and children were left with little money after Agee's death and McDowell wanted to help them by publishing the work. Agee won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1958 for the novel.

Sobre Pulitzer Prize Books.com

I am a private collector, mainly Pulitzer Prize winners, but I inherited 1000's of hardcovers and looking to sell them off. I will be relocating in the near future, and need to lighten the load.
