Page edges slightly tanned otherwise a VG+ copy in a near fine D/W with one brown spot to the back panel which is otherwise really clean and un-soiled. The spine lettering is still white (unusual thus). Quite scarce. An unusual and absorbing piece of post-apocalyptic science fiction about the relentless transformation of England when the balance of nature is upset. Cross-contamination and the swift death of grass and rice on an international scale lead to global starvation, carnage, anarchy and a rapid descent to barbarism. The basis of the 1970 movie (No Blade of Grass) starring Nigel Davenport. The Author’s best-known book
