Signed presentation inscription by the author dated Sept. 12, 1937, on the front fly-leaf. Contains "Death the Proud Brother," "Only the Dead Know Brooklyn," "The Four Lost Men," "The Web of Earth," and other stories. Fine in near fine dustjacket with some light rubbing but no chipping to top and bottom of spine.
Sinopsis
Wolfe's third published book, and his first of short stories, this collection contains his popular "Only the Dead Know Brooklyn," written in a Brooklyn dialect.
