Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

London: Rich & Cowan, 1946. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. 12mo, 160pp. Beautiful First Edition of this scarce mystery Bound in beige cloth with titles in green on spine. Square, tight, solid and clean throughout with little or no wear save some softness to spine ends. Remarkably no toning or foxing. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (9s. 6d. net), has some rubbing to edges, folds and tips. Some scratching to the front panel and light soiling to the rear. Still fresh and bright with no chipping or tears and impossible to find in any condition. A very pretty collectable copy. (Hubin, p.116).
