Sinopsis
John Lanchester was born in Hamburg in 1962. He was brought up in the Far East and educated in England. He is a columnist for the Daily Telegraph and is on the editorial board of the London Review of Books . The Debt to Pleasure (1996), won the Whitbread First Novel Award, the Betty Trask Prize, the Hawthornden Prize, and a Julia Child Award. His second novel, Mr. Phillips , was published in 2000. His most recent novel is Fragrant Harbour . He lives in London.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days, orders paid for with personal check ship within 5 days of receipt of funds. Any book may be returned for a refund within 7 days of receipt by the buyer, as long as we are notified before returning and the book arrives in its same packaging. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. Over-sized or heavy books may require additional shipping, international orders may require additional postage and insurance; we will notify the buyer beforehand.
