Contains colour illustrations by Thomas Derrick. Flat signed by illustrator to front free endpaper. Copy No.14 from 350 copies. Hinges are slightly cracked with exposed netting. Clean pages and illustrations with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Rough cut pages with top textblock edge dyed gilt. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Lettering is darkened. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Moderate scuffing to edges and corners. Visible wear and water marks to boards.
