Londra Per Tommaso Edlin, 1725. 4to, 213 x 139 mms., pp. [xxii], thereafter foliated, with 284 leaves, [6 unnumbered leaves], pp. 49 50 blank], engraved frontispiece, engraved title dated 1527, engraved frontispiece, fine engraved portrait of Boccaccio, several engraved cul-de-lampes, including three-page list of subscribers, contemporary calf, spine ornately gilt in compartments, red leather label; joints cracked (but firm), lower panel on spine defective, top and base of spine chipped, corners worn. After the last of subscribers and a note is double engraved title-page, with the Giunta on the recto and that of Edlin on the verso. This more-or-less diplomatic reprint was the work of the librettist and translator of Milton, Paolo Rolli (1687 - 1765), who worked in England from 1717 until 1737. A reprint of the much-admired edition by the Heirs of Filipo Giunta [i. e., Pasinello] in Florence in 1527.
